Digital Marketer

MochiThings, LLC (MochiThings.com) located in Seattle, WA has an immediate opening for a Digital Marketer.

As an Digital Marketer you will be working closely with the CEO in research, optimization, and implementation in all aspects of our overall digital marketing strategy. The CEO will assist with all engineering efforts that may be required in your job responsibilities and allocate necessary resources to get the job done right. Your work as an Digital Marketer will allow potential customers discover our unique and heavily curated selection of cute & functional products backed up with stellar customer service.

You will be working at a fun, challenging, dynamic & fast growing e-commerce startup in the Seattle SoDo district. We are successfully bootstrapped with a strong and healthy cash flow to sustain daily operations. 40% of our 2014 budget is allocated to digital marketing and you will be the one to take lead in investing this budget and turning it into profitable conversions.

The primary responsibilities for this position are:

PPC Campaign Management

  • Set and maintain budgets to meet targeted conversion rates and profit goals
  • Continuous optimization of bids from the ad group level down to the creative level
  • Research, build, and test keywords
  • Suggest landing page optimizations to ensure a fluid and streamlined click-to-sale flow
  • Daily analysis on campaign, ad group, and creative performance, report findings, and suggest & implement improvements.
  • Continuously testing new PPC network features and integrate it into our overall PPC strategy

Organic Search

  • Daily research on which organic terms are trending and profitable using keyword research tools
  • Research and implement methods to boost profitable keywords
  • Optimize unprofitable keywords
  • Suggest strategic keyword placements on landing pages
  • Research and implement search optimization techniques

Social

  • Research and implement methods to increase user engagement, brand awareness and more
  • Actively seek and research industry news, trends, and user behavior to improve our overall social media strategy
  • Suggest and implement methods to increase target conversion rates and profits

Referral

  • Discover existing profitable referral channels and suggest these channels to the business development team to follow up with
  • Seek out potential referral channels that may generate leads
  • Continuously optimize existing referral channels to increase conversions and profits

Analysis

  • Use all features of Google Analytics for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual analysis to suggest optimizations, budgeting, and forecast growth.
  • Use network provided data tools to compare with our own metrics
  • Be able to generate actionable reports by compiling various metrics into cohesive actionable reports to back up your suggested changes.
  • Continuously research and discover tools that may gather more useful data for analysis

General

  • Strong writing skills and experience writing in a variety of capacities
  • Continually research and seek out new channels

Our Minimum Qualifications

  • Pass criminal background check
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited school.
  • At least 1 year in a field related to online media; preferably with experience outlined in the primary responsibilities

Additional Information

  • Full-Time. This will be a day job (Monday – Friday 9:00PM – 6:00 PM) with a lunch break from 12:00PM – 1:00PM.

Customer Experience Agent

MochiThings, LLC (MochiThings.com) located in Seattle, WA has an immediate opening for a Customer Experience Agent. You will be working at a dynamic & rapidly growing e-commerce startup in the SoDo district of Seattle. MochiThings is well known for its friendly & professional customer service and we are seeking passionate individuals to make it even more awesome!

We are seeking individuals with a bleeding desire to learn & improve on a daily basis to deliver a customer experience that is both dynamic & engaging which will ultimately keep our customers coming back for more! We don’t take customer support lightly. Delivering a strong and streamlined customer experience is what led to the success of MochiThings.

You will be reporting directly to the CEO for all customer service related issues and inquiries. The CEO will evaluate, assist, and implement all requests and suggestions to improve our current customer experience model. Be prepared to come in with a strong opinion and desire about customer support. You must be able to integrate your opinions with our current customer servicing model and be prepared to modify your opinions when necessary. We are ultimately looking for individuals who can evolve our successful & proven customer experience model.

The key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Customer Service & Support via e-mail, live chat, phone, and across all social media channels.
  • Respond to all voice mail and call back requests in a timely manner
  • Handle all customer service related tasks including but not limited to: order changes, address updates, product discounting, and more.
  • Be prepared and comfortable handling difficult situations that includes solving misdeliveries, stolen shipments, product defects, and more.
  • Write fun & engaging social media posts that increases social media engagement across all channels on a day to day basis.
  • Write product descriptions and photo captions. This will ultimately lead you to better understanding how each product functions and how to refer products to our customers.
  • Discover and study leading customer experience individuals and organizations on a daily basis to improve our customer experience model as well as to further improve your own customer support skills and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 to 4 years experience in similar positions
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence
  • Must be able to demonstrate a strong, positive attitude and ability to handle customer situations while remaining calm, professional, and in control.
  • Must be able to actively listen to situations, understand the ultimate customer concern, and apply the correct priority and sense of urgency to the approach & solution.
  • Excellent and empathetic English communication skills across all communication mediums.
  • Be able to work at least 35-40 hours per week with possible overtime.
  • Pass criminal background check
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited school is a minimum requirement.

Additional Information:

Work Environment

You will be working in an office environment. You will be working alongside our team, including our engineering, marketing, and fulfillment personnel to perform your duties.

Schedule & Shift

Full-time. This will be a day job (Monday – Friday 9:30AM – 5:30 PM)

Pay, Overtime, and Pay Schedule

You will be paid hourly an hourly rate. Overtime rate is 1.5 times your hourly rate. You will be paid on the 15th and the last day of every month or on the last working day preceding a holiday or weekend.
